The presentation
Coreod Mirror 360° is Coreod's analytical matrix for leaders and managers who want to set the way they see themselves against the view of the people who work with them. It is designed for moments when that view becomes decisive: a new appointment, expanded responsibilities, a leadership transition, or the start of a coaching engagement or a leadership development programme. It maps professional presence as it is perceived by those around the leader, and delivers three actionable outcomes: a dimension-by-dimension reading of how each circle around the leader perceives that presence, a comparison of this perception with the self-assessment, including where they converge and where they differ, and an evidence-based foundation for building a development path with a Coreod practitioner.
Coreod Mirror 360° is built on a sixty-item 360° questionnaire covering twelve dimensions of observable professional presence. The person being assessed answers it about themselves; seven to twelve people they choose from their working environment (their line management, peers, close team members and, in some cases, external partners) answer it about them. The framework follows the methodological standards of 360° assessment (Bracken, Rose and Church, 2016). It includes no personality test: it describes how a person's professional presence is perceived, not stable traits.
Its distinctive value lies in what no self-assessment can provide: the view of others. The Coreod engine compares, on each dimension, the self-assessment with the perception of each category of perspectives, following the model of self-other rating agreement (Yammarino & Atwater, 1997), and shows where the views converge and where they diverge. A gap is neither a fault nor a shortcoming: it is the information the framework exists to make visible.
Results are interpreted within the participant's own profile. The 360° questionnaire does not yet have norms: each person is their own reference point, and gaps are read as material for dialogue, not as a comparison with a population. Responses from perspectives are never reported by name, and a category too small to preserve anonymity is combined with the others. Results are debriefed in a session with a Coreod practitioner, never as a report delivered without support.
Coreod Mirror 360° supports leadership development and high-quality professional dialogue. The report belongs to the person assessed: an organisation may order the framework, it does not receive its content, and it is designed neither to appraise performance nor to ground a decision on promotion or pay. Lead and Executive describe the way a person leads as they report it themselves; Coreod Mirror 360° adds the view of those who experience it every day.
