Founder and CEO of Coreod
Dr Élise Jabès
Where pressure runs highest
Dr Élise Jabès founded Coreod and leads it. For more than fifteen years she has worked where pressure runs highest: first with humanitarian workers and United Nations peacekeepers, then, for NeurAixplorer’s research, with astronauts.
Path
Her first field was humanitarian missions and peacekeeping. Her work there focused on cumulative stress and on the ways each person organises themselves to face it.
Coreod is its continuation: bringing to civilian life what we learn from extreme environments, at a time when cognitive load is becoming the first limiting factor of human performance.
The origin of the six Coreod Insight matrices
The six Coreod Insight matrices, Pulse, Equilibrium, Profiler, Lead, Executive and Continuum, grew out of this field work.
The method that combined the PSS-10, the Brief COPE and a five-factor personality inventory to read stress in extreme settings was later extended to the life of organisations. Today Neo, our AI specialised in psychometric calculation, produces the calculations, and Prometheus writes the report.
Dr Jabès’s stance
“What psychometrics truly has to accomplish is not to sort people into a box. It is to make legible to each person what they already carry within.”
These words run through every matrix and every Prometheus report. It is not about measuring organisations. It is about making them legible to themselves. The essence of Coreod Insight lies there.
